About

Nicole Erins, PT, DPT, CSCS
Nicole is a NYC-based Doctor of Physical therapy specializing in performing arts. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Health Sciences and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and is a graduate of BASI's Pilates with dance specialization program. Additionally, she has taken advanced coursework to specialize in treating temporomandibular (TMJ) dysfunctions and voice-related conditions.
Nicole was introduced to dance and theater at an early age and was a competitive Irish dancer for 14 years. In high school and college, she had a few injuries that required physical therapy which led her to pursue a career in performing arts medicine. She is very grateful to the PTs who understood that not dancing wasn't an option and instead helped her return as a stronger dancer with the proper tools to continue take care of her body.
Nicole has previously had the amazing opportunity to work with over 25 Broadway, off-Broadway and nationally touring productions (including School of Rock, Waitress, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Tootsie, and more). She has had extensive clinical experience treating a variety of performing artists including dancers, actors, vocalists, musicians, and people who like to move. Nicole understands the exceptional physical demands required of artist-athletes and strives to help all of her patients find balance for healthy, sustainable performances.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys Pilates and yoga classes, hiking with her dogs Twyla and Chloe, seeing shows, and traveling with her husband, Aleks.
